Parallel linear banks, circa 3.5 metres in width, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947, along the valley between two farms. The northernmost field is depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, with a few trees depicted in the southern field. The earthworks are aligned broadly cross-contour, and are interpreted as banks for fruit tree planting, which are likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in date. The earthworks in the northern field appear to have been levelled by 1967, although some remains in the southern field are indicated by cropmarks, and no evidence of earthworks was visible on any of the later available aerial photography.
