Plot 669 on the Dartmouth Tithe Map is recorded as 'Lower Well Park' and plot 672 is recorded as 'Higher Well Park' within the Tithe Apportionment. The field names indicate the presence of a well within the vicinity, although no features are depicted within these plots on the Tithe Map. A spring is, however labelled within the south-east corner of the plot on the later First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map.
