Summary
A probable former field boundary of medieval to post-medieval date was visible on aerial photographs of 1946 as a low earthwork bank and ditch to the south-east of Up Exe. The earthwork has probably been levelled.

Full description

An earthwork banks and ditch was visible.

A probable former field boundary of medieval to post-medieval date was visible on aerial photographs of 1946 as a low and narrow earthwork bank set within ditch to the south-east of Up Exe. The shallow ditch was up to 8 metres wide and 114 metres long, abutting extant boundaries to the south-east and north-west. The bank was approximately 3 metres wide and visible for a somewhat irregular length of about 94 metres. It was not depicted on the Tithe Map for Rewe and was probably therefore removed prior to the 1840s. The earthworks were not visible on more recent images available to the survey and have probably been levelled.
