The field is recorded as 'Great Hutey Hill' on the 1838-48 East Portlemouth tithe apportionment.

A series of three adjacent sub-circular features are depicted on both the First Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s and the Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey map of between 1904-06, south of East Portlemouth. They are aligned on a northeast to southwest orientation. The field is recorded as 'Great Hutey Hill' on the 1838-48 East Portlemouth tithe apportionment. It is unclear what the earthworks represent, although may be agricultural, such as hayrick stands.
