A triangular soilmark is visible.

A roughly triangular soilmark visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken from 2006-2007 to the west of Thorverton Mill, might be evidence of a pit of unknown date and function. The soilmark measures circa 32 by 21 metres in size and is differentiated from its surroundings by a deeper tone and purple tint. The ragged edge of the possible soilmark were probably an effect of ploughing.
