Name: | Field Boundaries South of Latchmoor Green |
---|
Summary
Former field boundaries of probable medieval origin are visible on aerial photographs as linear cropmarks to the south of Latchmoor Green. The cropmarks do not correspond with boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Rewe which supports the interpretation that they had passed out of use prior to circa 1840. However, they do fall within the dominant field pattern and are probably therefore medieval in origin.
