Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

'Wrey Barton' is shown on 19th century Tithe Map as a group of buildings and several small enclosures to the east of the road. The northern building appears to the a horse engine on the northern side. The Apportionment for 'Wray Barton' lists Field Number 1803 as 'Homestead', 1804 as 'House and Yard', 1802 as 'Garden' and 1805 as 'Yard'.

'Wray barton' shown on 19th century map as a large group of buildings and several yards to the north of the 'Mansion (Remains of)'. The farmstead has formal gardens to the south and east.
