Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The bank does not correspond with any depicted boundary and was therefore probabaly removed from use by circa 1840.

A possible former field boundary bank was visible as an earthwork on the south-facing slopes to the north of Newlands Farm on aerial photographs of 1946. Although not depicted the bank fell within the field pattern shown on the Tithe Map for Broad Clyst, and was possibly of medieval origin. The bank was not visible as an earthwork on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2010 and has probably been levelled.
