A small structure was visible within a former orchard to the south of the previous location of Whimple House, now Bramley Gardens, Whimple.
The location of the structure cannot be seen on aerial photographs of late 1946 due to heavy tree cover. The possible structure might be partly visible through the trees in images of 1966. The structural remains are clearly visible as possibly sunken and unroofed rectilinear walls or foundations from March 1967 onwards and can be clearly seen on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2010. The structure probably survives in situ. The date and function of the structure are unknown.
