Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The earthwork ditch does not correspond with any depicted boundaries.

The line of a possible former field boundary of medieval to post-medieval date was visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards as a slight curvilinear earthwork ditch to the north of Gateshayes Farm, Broad Clyst.
The ditch does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Broad Clyst and was therefore probably removed prior to the 1840s. It was not noted on more recent images available to the survey and might have been levelled.
