Narrow curvilinear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 1967, on the valley sides west of the site of Kenbury House, covering 1.5 hectares. They are broadly parallel to the line of a probable drainage ditch depicted on historic mapping that runs along the centre of the combe. The earthworks are interpreted as catchmeadow gutters of probable 19th century date. The source of the water is likely to have been the natural watercourse in the centre of the valley, possibly to the west of the A379, but the landform appears to have been altered by 20th century improvements to this highway.
