A dark curvilinear cropmark, circa 1 metre wide and 40 metres in length, is visible on a single run of specialist aerial photographs taken in the summer of 1985. It is clear and similar in appearance to part of the triple-ditched enclosure to the south of possible later prehistoric or Roman date (MDV37440). The curvilinear cropmark may have formed over the buried remains of a boundary ditch, perhaps associated with the triple-ditched enclosure. As no boundary is depicted here in the Tithe map, any land division here is likely to have gone out of use prior to the mid-19th century.
