A curvilinear pale crop or soil mark, circa 4 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in November 1946. It is similar in appearance to several curvilinear pale features in this field that correspond to field boundaries depicted on the Tithe map. The crop or soil mark is interpreted as the remains of a field boundary bank of possible medieval origin that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
