A possible former field boundary of uncertain date is visible as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs of 1984, to the northwest of Hayes Farm. The linear ditch is northeast to southwest aligned and is located in an area where a dense concentration of Prehistoric to Roman ring ditches and enclosures have been recorded and so may be of broadly contemporary date.
