'Dennis Park' is depicted on the 1930s Ordnance Survey historic map.

Nattadon Road is also known as 'Dennis Park'. The Dennis Park houses were built as 'workmen's cottages' by the Okehampton Rural District Council in the early 1920s, following the 1909 Housing and Town Planning Act powers. Three fields were proposed to build 'cottages and allotments for artisans' which was strongly resisted by the parish council. In 1912 the land was compulsorily purchased and the houses later built.
