Holyshute Spring. A visit in 1939 records that the water is now conveyed by means of a shute through the wall of the grounds of Holyshute House.

Holyshute Well is a prolific spring which has been known since at least the 16th century. The source of the spring is in the garden of Holyshute House and it flows through the garden wall into Langford Road. Although the spring is still active there are no visible remains of any medieval or early post medieval wellhead or associated stonework. A pipe projecting from a large unornamented stone slab set in the garden wall feeds spring water into a small concrete trough just below road level which is covered by an iron grating. These features appear to be relatively modern. Not recommended for scheduling.
