Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2003-2004, East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Archaeological Survey, Site No. 542 (Archive - Survey). SDV351568.
Field called Round Close on Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment (Tihe Apportionment No. 1556).' Round' names sometimes refer to circular/sub-circular fields which can reflect underlying enclosures of prehistoric date. Present field not round in shape. Sites of barrows to west of field.
