Field called Little Banks on Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment with field called Great Banks to south (Tithe Apportionment No. 1322, SY 1652 9927). Name may refer to presence of bank or earthwork, or perhaps personal name of landholder. Lies to east of stream.
