Full description

Devenish Pit Farm is fist documented in 1381 deriving probably from family of Simon 'Devenyshe'. On 1891 Ordnance Survey map farm shown as buildings around a courtyard to east of road, with 2 other buildings to west of road. New layout on modern map.
