An irregular shaped shallow earthwork depression is visible.

An irregular shaped shallow earthwork depression circa 30m by 15m is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. It corresponds with a small 'Gravel Pit' depicted on the First Edition OS map, which by the Second Edition OS map has increased in size. The pit is visible on aerial photographs dating to the 1940s. The pit is not depicted on maps dating from the mid-20th century onwards. The earthwork depression is interpreted as a gravel pit of 19th century origin, that ceased extraction by the mid-20th century.
