At the head of the tinwork to the south of Smallacombe Rocks is a complex system of water collection, storage and supply channels including two reservoirs at SX77037802 and SX76067794. A Prehistoric reave has in one place been reinforced to serve as a reservoir dam. The source of the water was rainwater run-off from the surrounding area.
