Full description
Vancouver, C., 1808, General View of the Agriculture of the County of Devon, 55 (Monograph). SDV294343.
According to Vancouver an attempt was made at Alwington for copper c. 1806. However, only large quantities of mundic were encountered and so the works were abandoned. [Mundic once referred to iron pyrites or fools gold.]
