No longer extant, this terrace was built around 1810-13 by French prisoners of war. It had a number of different names including Chapel Row, Government Row and finally Woodville Terrace, before it was demolished in the 1960s.

Row of eight houses depicted on the Tithe Map.

The terrace is shown on the later 19th century historic map. Now separate gardens have been allocated to the houses.

Church Row. This terrace was built around 1810-13 by French prisoners of war. When the Chapel of Ease was established in St Michael's Church, this row of houses became 'Chapel Row', later 'Government Row' and finally 'Woodville Terrace', before being demolished in the 1960s. The low wall in front of the Cornish Unit houses called Woodville Avenue was the remains of the front wall of Church Row.
