Group of round barrows or cairns on Crownhill Down. Barrow (A) is a ring barrow 11.7 metres by 10.9 metres across with an outer bank 0.5 metres high. There is no surface trace of an outer ditch or kerb.

A mound or ring-work circa 11m in diameter is identifiable on aerial photographs of 1951 and digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2013, at circa SX57175993, on the south-west facing slopes of Crownhill Down, overlooking Old Bottle Hill leat. A subtle but notable central hollow circa 5m in diameter is visible, possibly indicating some past disturbance or that the mound was constructed as a ringwork. The earthwork is interpreted as a barrow of Bronze Age date.
