Summary
Originally cottages that may be early 16th century in date; these were amalgamated to create a coaching inn by the later 19th century. Stables at the rear are now garages. Part of the front dates to the early 1900s. Lounge bar has an original fireplace that may be early 16th century in date.

Full description

London Inn is depicted on the late 19th century historic map.

The London Inn was created by amalgamating five cottages dating from the early 16th century and us a former coaching inn. The front section of the public bar was added in the early 1900s where there had originally been a courtyard. The stables situated at the rear of the building have since been converted into garages adjoining the inn's car park. The large fireplace, complete with cloam oven in the lounge bar is thought to be an original; built at the same time as the cottages.
