A linear bank, circa 1.5 metres wide, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s and as a cropmark on more recent aerial photographs taken in 2010. No field boundary is depicted in this location on the available historic mapping, although the north-east end of the earthwork terminates at a dogleg in the extant field boundary, and the south-west end appears contiguous with a boundary depicted on the first edition OS map. It is interpreted as the remains of a former field boundary of medieval or post-medieval origin that went out of use by the late-19th century.
