Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Tonyfield marked, comprising several dispersed groups of buildings. The main yard has the farmhouse with benchmark and adjacent buildings with an L-shaped range to the south with what appears to be a horse engine house. About 60 metres to the east is a well and then a rectangular open-fronted building and then about 30 metres east of this are three more rectangular buildings, one open-fronted.

The layout of the buildings appears similar, except that the roundhouse on the L-shaped range has gone and the buildings at the eastern extent of the farmstead have been joining together with the addition of another building and a horse engine house has also been added.

Most of the historic farm buildings shown on the 1880s-1890s Ordnance Survey map are still extant, although several appear to be ruinous.
