Site 10: The western mica and sand 'Drag' where the slurry was first deposited consists of a level platform with a shallow stone-lined depression 17 metres by 4,5 metres on top. This is divided into three runs, two of which have curved terminals with narrow openings at the west end. There is a manhole opening at the eastern end from which two channels branch away to the south.
Site 11: South of the 'Drag' is a level cutting which may have housed a structure or some apparatus though no evidence remains.
