This building is depicted on the early-mid 19th century Tithe Map, although is likely to have been older. Recorded in 1991 woodland survey as being in a ruinous condition. Not shown on modern mapping.

Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Building is depicted on the Tithe Map, although it was detached at this time. It is aligned roughly south-west by north-east and has a ?porch on the north-western face.

Unchanged from the Tithe Map depiction, although the barn at the northern end may have been added/converted from part of the original building by this time.

The early 20th century historic map shows this building joined to the barn at the north-eastern end and has been subdivided, creating a small separate building at the south-western end.

Buildings on the farm noted as being in poor condition. Buildings 6 and 7 (function not noted for 7). The foundation walls of the farmhouse (6) were all that remained of this building. A fireplace was just discernable in the south-eastern gable wall (figure 10).
