Large bridge over the Piall River noted in 1996 woodland survey. Constructed of dressed stone it has a raised track / driveway leading from the main road and measures 12.0 metres long and 4.0 metres wide, with parapet 0.7 metres high.

Full description
Berry, N. + Simmonds, T., 1996, An Archaeological Survey of Boro Wood (SX7571), Erme Wood (SX6357), Wistmans Wood (SX6177) and Newpark Waste (SX5961), 29, NW09 (Report - Survey). SDV360518.
SX59236083 - Stone bridge. Large bridge over the Piall River at the south-western corner of the survey area. Constructed of dressed stone, in the same style as NW06 and 15. Has a raised track / driveway leading from the main road and over the bridge into Newpark wood, where the north-east end of the parapet splays to link with the track to a smaller bridge (NW10) over a tributary stream. The bridge is in generally good condition and elaborately constructed, possibly as part of a landscaped park. Measures approximately 12.0 metres long and 4.0 metres wide, with parapet 0.7 metres high.
