Summary

A post-medieval to 19th century quarry is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1948, to the southwest of Wanhill, Atherington. Earthworks of the quarry are shown in this location on both the First and Second Edition Ordnance Survey maps and also on the 2018 Ordnance Survey MasterMap.
