Summary

A post-medieval to 19th century quarry, within Satterleigh Wood, Satterleigh and Warkleigh, is shown on both the First and Second Edition maps and is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs taken in 1948. The former quarry is also shown as an earthwork feature on the Ordnance Survey 2018 MasterMap.
