Transcriptions of a cut feature and bank correspond to the grid reference for PRN167724.

A quarry is visible on aerial photographs (p1). It is recorded on modern OS 1:10,000 mapping, but not 1st or 2nd edition historic maps. This would suggest that it is of recent, possibly 20th century, origin. The quarry has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
