Pale soil marks of a possible curvilinear enclosure and lines of former field boundaries visible.

Cropmarks of a possible curvilinear enclosure of later prehistoric or Roman date are visible in the large field on the east side of Exmouth Road. However, some sections of the enclosure are poorly defined and it is possible therefore that the cropmarks could be natural in origin The field was once divided into several small fields and the lines of former field boundaries are also visible.

Cropmarks visible on Google Earth static photos dated December 2003, April 2007 and December 2010 in the fields across the road from the George and Dragon at Clyst St George. The marks are particularly clear on the 2007 image.
