Garden House SX498682
A cross shaft is being used as a gatepost at the entrance to a cottage in the grounds of Garden House. An octagonal granite shaft, broken off at the point where the shaft widened out to form the arms of a cross.
Shaft height 1.09 metres, base 0.38 metres by 0.25 metres, top 0.35 metres by 0.22 metres. Chamfer 8.89 centimetres.
