Halwill Churchyard SX427994
A probable socket stone stands in the churchyard, left of the approach to the south porch of the church. Octagonal in shape, it has been hollowed out to form a circular trough. This could possibly be a disused font.
Socket stone 0.55 metres by 0.29 metres high (octagonal). Inside 0.44 metres in diameter by 0.20 metres deep.
