SX69776010 Stockbridge Cottage, Stockbridge Lane
This cottage is represented on the 1843 Tithe Apportionment (see source).
The house is two storeys, rectangular with a single span slate roof. It is stone built, the south face being slate hung. Sash windows.
One chimney at the east end (axial) is stone with a brick extension, the other, not axial and about two thirds of the way along from the east end is large and square, stone built and brick topped, with slanting slates (at thatch level) projecting.
