Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Farmstead marked, comprising several groups of buildings mainly around the north side of an irregularly-shaped curving yard, with another building(s) on the south-west side.

North Hayne marked. Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the layout of the farmstead to have changed little. A horse engine house is shown on the west sie of the barn on the south-west side of the yard and a pond in the southern corner.

The layout of the farmstead appears much the same as it did on historic maps, with the addition of a number of newer buildings.
