Recorded as Houses and Mowplot (1448), Houses and Court (1447), Houses and Court (1446), Garden (1445), House and Garden (1444) and Plot (1487) on the Yarnscombe Tithe Apportionment.

Farmstead marked as Church Combe, comprising several groups of buildings.

Farmstead named as Churcombe. Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the basic plan of the farm to have changed little. The site of a chapel is shown to the east.
