Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Farmstead marked, comprising several groups of buildings around an irregular shaped yard.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Higher Whiddon marked. Comparison with the Tithe Map suggests the ranges on the south side of the yard to have been altered/rebuilt. A horse engine house is shown against a barn towards the western end of the complex. Several orchards are also depicted around the farmstead.
