Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Woodhouse depicted comprising two discreet groups of buildings with another isolated building to the north-east.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Farmstead named as South Woodhouse. Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the addition of several buildings. A horse engine house is also shown.

Modern mapping shows the farmstead to have expanded with the addition of several large buildings but a number of the farm buildings shown on 19th century mapping appear still extant.
