Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 3.5 metres in width, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. They are aligned cross-contour and named ‘Lane End Orchard’ on the mid-19th century Tithe apportionment. They are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation, and trees were still visible in this plot on the 1940s aerial photographs. Although most have been removed some fruit trees may survive.
