A curvilinear earthwork ditch, up to approximately 6 metres wide, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, and on aerial photographs taken in 1986. It fits broadly into the surrounding field pattern and its curvilinear shape indicates a likely medieval origin. It is not depicted on the Tithe map and any field boundary here probably went out of use before the mid-19th century.
