South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.
2 fields, plot numbers 792 and 817, named 'Common Oven Close' are shown on 1838-48 Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments. Field name is thought to be associated with the site of a furnace, plot 1972.

Field boundaries no longer remain and it is unclear if the field name still applies on Ordnance Survey 1880-90s First Edition mapping.
