A curvilinear earthwork bank, circa 4 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It fits into the field pattern and is interpreted as a relict field boundary. Its curvilinear shape indicates a likely medieval origin, but it is not depicted on the Tithe map and any field boundary here probably went out of use before the mid-19th century. Below ground remains may be indicated by a dark curvilinear cropmark visible on aerial photographs taken in 2006-7.
