Eleven oval shaped mounds, between 7-12m in length, associated with prehistoric or Romano-British field system MDV8615 are visible as earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, on a limestone plateau at Olderpark Copse, Denbury and Torbryan parish. The mounds are located at SX82136745; SX82156741; SX82126741; SX82136740; SX82146737; SX82156720; SX82026735; SX82046736; SX82036737; SX82046737 and SX82056737, with most of these corresponding with earthwork features depicted on the Ordnance Survey 2018 MasterMap. Their form, character and setting within the field system supports the interpretation that they represent clearance cairns of possible prehistoric or Romano-British date.
