An earthwork hollow circa 5m wide and over 340m long is visible as a fragmentary curvilinear earthwork descending the west-facing slopes of Waddon Brakes, Chudleigh.
The visible earthwork does not correspond with any feature depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey and may be evidence of a pre-enclosure trackway, potentially of medieval to post-medieval origin.
Lidar coverage of this area is partial, but available images derived from lidar data captured in 2013 indicate that the hollow probably survives as a subtle earthwork.
