Full description
Brewer, D., 2002, Dartmoor Boundary Markers: And Other Markers on and Around the Moor, 260-62, Fig 90 (Monograph). SDV350689.
Erected after 1867 when the enlarged bounds of the prison were marked with 'DCP' stones. Inscribed 'DCP'. Marked on road line. Image on page 262 may feature this stone, which has an Ordnance Survey brass bolt on its top. These bolts are around 60 millimetres in width and bear the letters 'OSBM' and an arrow on the circumference.

[1364165] (23/08/2002) SX 60017440. A dressed granite post with a slightly pointed top measures 0.4m high and 0.23m square. It possesses the inscription DCP above a broad arrow on its southern face. Built into a field wall this stone possesses an Ordnance Survey bolt on its top.
