Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
The late 19th century historic map shows the bridge over the (now disused) canal. 'Fitzford Gateway' marked just to the north.

Fitzford Bridge was reconstructed in 1904 (photograph included shows it before the reconstruction work).
Waterhouse includes Bedford Estate proposal drawings for 1903 reconstruction of the bridge, along with his survey drawings of the structure for comparison.
