Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Depicted on the Tithe Map west of the north-south road at Addiscott. 732 on apportionment; 'Hole's Addiscott' (dwelling house etc.), owned by John Knapman, occupied by Thomas Powlesland.
A large farmhouse occupies the north-eastern corner of the plot; rectangular, aligned east-west, with an adjoining structure set at right angles. A number of other farm buildings are shown to the south-west, including a large, inverted L-shaped building.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

By the time of the late 19th century historic map, the farm layout has changed substantially. No farmhouse / adjoining buildings are shown, although there appears to be some alteration / extension of the farm buildings to the south-west.

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

The farm has completely disappeared by the time of the early 20th century historic map depiction and presumably the buildings have been demolished, as they are not shown as ruined / disused.
